Kindergarten day 2

Jo back home after her 2nd day.  She made friends with another girl in her class, and still likes the two girls she met yesterday.  They didn't have math, and she was dissapointed about that, but enjoyed her three recesses and two snacks (I wish I had her school day).

Jo looks a bit tired..it will take awhile for her to get used to her school day.

Jo with Ry, who only smiles in pictures now when he's not supposed to be in them.

Jo has taken Puff with her to school the past two days, with the understanding that Puff would stay in her backpack, but she can go over and give Puff a hug during the day if she needs to.  Puff ate lunch with her at her table on the first day of school, but stayed in the backpack the 2nd.  I think I put the fear into her when I told her that even though her teacher lets Puff eat lunch with her, I don't want her to take Puff out of her backpack, because I don't want her to leave him there on accident and have him spend the night at school.

I got Ryley an Italian Soda with a gift card to the local coffee stand the PTA gave me last year. He really liked it, and thinks we should make them at home.  The Italian soda made the 1/2 hour wait between picking him up and picking Josie up a little nicer for him, but I don't feel too bad...he's now experiencing what Josie has experienced for the last three years.

Jo looked very happy when she got into the car after school today.  I think she had a great 2nd day.

Jo & Puff, by Ryley

Ryley and I read the 1st chapter of Harry Potter 4 while waiting today.

Ryley also passed some time taking pictures with the camera.
It was a pretty hot day, so the A/C went on high.
